FALL PROGRAMS

Fall Future Stars
This program introduces the sport of lacrosse.  It is open to all players in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The program is offered in the fall on Saturday afternoons.  The focus will be on the fundamentals of throwing, catching, cradling, and scooping ground balls.  A stick and mouthpiece is required to participate.

SPRING PROGRAMS

In House Program

Little Laxers (Pre-K through Grade 2)
Our new coed program  for our youngest laxers to get the stick in their hands early and learn basic lacrosse skills.  This program will focus on the fundamentals of throwing, catching, cradling, and scooping ground balls in an age appropriate manner.  We will practice 2-3 times per week. Requires minimal investment in equipment (stick and mouthguard). Parent involved is encouraged.

Travel Teams

3rd/4th Grade Boys and Girls Travel Teams
These developmental programs focus on the fundamentals of throwing, catching, scooping ground balls.  Some offensive and defensive techniques will be introduced as the season progresses and the players develop some confidence in the fundamentals.  For the boys game, there will be some light contact in practice and games.  The teams practice three days per week.

5th/6th Grade Boys and Girls Travel Teams
These programs advance the skills taught at lower levels.  While continuing to emphasize throwing, catching, ground balls, and defense, advanced techniques are introduced.  In addition to working with the players strong hand, all players will begin to work on using their weak hand.  For the boys game, there will be full contact in practice and games.  The teams practice three days per week.

7th/8th Grade Boys and Girls Travel Teams
These programs will build upon the skills developed in the younger ages.  The fundamentals will be an important part of all practices and the use of the weak hand will be encouraged throughout the season.  The players will continue to develop their defensive positioning and will learn about clears, rides and fast breaks.  We will prepare players for their high school lacrosse careers. For the boys game, there will be full contact in practice and games.  The teams practice three days per week.
