EWPAL Basketball League - Martial Art Fundraiser

Friends, family, and sponsors of the East Windsor Police Athletic League are invited to join our Martial Arts Fundraiser.

We are offering 2 weeks of classes at New Jersey TaeKwonDo Kickboxing Academy for $20 as a donation to the EWPAL Basketball League.

100% of the proceeds go to the EWPAL Basketball League.

The Martial Arts classes are taught by Grand Master Steven Phillips, 7th Degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo & former 4 time World Champion Kickboxer who's been teaching for over 30 years! The classes will be held at our East Windsor location 859 Route 130 North, East Windsor, NJ 08520. The classes will be conducted on Tuesday's and Thursday's 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM.

This class will introduce traditional Martial Arts training with a modern teaching method to give students a challenging and rewarding experience. The course is designed for the beginner level student. Students will be introduced to Respect, Honesty, Self-Esteem, Vision, Communication & Discipline which is the root of what we teach!

2023 EWPAL Spring Soccer Registration has started !

Late Fee Starts March 12th Sign Up NOW!

Rec Soccer is open to 3yrs olds to 12th Grades

Please click on the Register Now Link and choose recreational soccer.

Every child must use the Red & Blue EWPAL t-shirts. You only need to purchase them when you need them.

Soccer Balls are available to purchase for $12.00

The season starts April 1st through mid June 

Teams will be formed mid March. Emails will go out for shirt/ball pick up date and times.

Little League registration has closed online. We have a few spots left in each division email pattie@eastwindsorpal.org to join. Please include your child's name and shirt size. Joining now you may not have a shirt on time for the first game but it will be ordered ASAP.

It is with Great Sadness to announce the passing of our colleague, friend and the  EWPAL Executive Director. 

John Thomas Funda II, 65, of Lumberton New Jersey passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones.

John was born on June 16, 1957, in Syracuse, New York to the late Patricia A. and John T. Funda. He was raised in North Tonawanda New York but settled in Lumberton New Jersey towards the end of his life and career. He attended and graduated Cardinal O’ Hara High School where he also coached ice hockey after graduating. John went on to work as a Lieutenant at the E. Windsor police department where he retired in 2005. John was known as an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed cheering on his children during their sporting events and practices. John was the Director of the E. Windsor Police Athletic League, completed over 50 police schools, was a state certified firearms instructor and a certified traffic accident reconstructionist. John will be deeply missed.

John is survived by his loving life mate Barbara Carillon; Sons, Jon Tyler, and Daus Ayden Funda; Sisters Joyce Funda, Debra Sanders (Joel), Mary Welch (Timothy), Suzanne Harmer, and Patricia Medvetz (Brian); Many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, his Uncle Robert Funda, and many extended family members (Woods Family)
John is predeceased by his stepson Erick Carillon, his sister Nancy Taylor, and his brother Michael Funda.

Reserved parking spaces are now available for the Spring and Fall Seasons. Each season is $100 to rent a reserved parking space. If you purchase both at the same time you pay $150. You will receive a card to put in your window and your name will be on the post. You can choose what to have written on the post.

All PAL Families;

The East Windsor Police Athletic League is excited to announce the creation of our new Facebook Group Page. This newly created group will be used to post the most recent, accurate and up-to-date information on the PAL, the complex, the fields and any current promotions/events or issues. This group page is being created to facilitate the communication process through a social media outlet that many people use on a daily basis. The group page will alos be used for engaging all in the PAL community, in conversation, discussions, and individual posts or members sharing their child's experiences while engaged in PAL activities. Individual posts will be encouraged, along with the posting of pictures, positive or inspirational messages and other community related information, as it relates to the PAL, our Sponsors and supporters.

The goal is to have all parents/guardians of registered children, all coaches, volunteers, alumni, alumni families and other validated community members request to join the Group Page for this interactive experience. In the very near future this Group Page will also link you to the Official EWPAL Facebook main page and the EWPAL website.

If you are new to our site:

During Open Registrations an Orange Register button will be on the right hand side of the screen. If using your phone you will need to click the button for full screen option.
Click on the register now orange button. Choose the program you wish to register for. It will then prompt you to enter your email address. It will email you a temporary password. Once you have the password you will need to enter your info and each of your children's info. You will then be able to register for the program. You can pay with a credit card with no fee or mail a check. If the check is not received in 7 days the registration will be deleted. 

Returning Parents:

Log in with your email address and password in the top right hand corner of the screen. You will then see your family information. You name, Your spouse and your children's names. If you do not see your name click on MY ACCOUNT tab at the top of the screen. On the left hand side of the screen click the tab that says register online. Choose from the drop down the program you want to join. Then choose the correct age group. It will then show you a tab next to the children that are eligible to participate in that program click that tab. Answer the questions and hit submit. Or you can click on the Register now button on the Right hand side of the screen choose the program you wish to register in it will then ask you to put in your email and password.

Payment must be made within 7 days for the registration will be deleted. If you can not make the full payment or need more time you must contact the office to assist you.
